Safety Security Manager
I. Qualifications
a. GED, High school diploma.
b. 21 years of age
c. One year working with children or adults (preferably in a group home or school setting).
d. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
e. CPR and First Aid Training within first year of employment
f. Pass criminal background checks
II. Organizational Relationships
a. Reports to Program Deputy Director and/or Program Manager
b. Works closely with entire staff to ensure safety of children in care as well as the management of the grounds of the facility
III. Description of Key Responsibilities
a. Supervises campus, monitors the safety of the facility, clients and staff i.e, doors, windows and to include the resident and academic units.
i. Critical incidents or allegations do not occur due to lack of or poor supervision.
ii. Effectively communicates/interacts with staff and clients.
iii. There is a balance of staff observation of the clients and the physical plant and grounds of the facility.
iv. Safely transports clients to community events as needed (school parks, movies, high school sports, etc.)
b. Manages clients’ behavior that is consistent with ESI and the motivation system.
i. Incidents and Accidents reports indicate appropriate protocol.
ii. Follows rules of motivation system.
iii. Report runaways to law enforcement after diligent search of clients who walk off campus.
c. Accurately and promptly documents clients’ daily activities including allegations of abuse and neglect.
i. Documentation is accurately completed daily.
ii. Designates area(s) on campus are normally clean and free of trash and or debris (report campus base maintenance issues to deputy director and residential manager.
d. Supports the philosophy that promotes strength-based solution focused, family and community-focused activities.
Models, supports and implements the philosophy in the development of treatment plans and various activities/events on campus to enhance the quality of life for the clients in care.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
