General Summary:

The Housekeeper/Utility is responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of assigned apartments and common areas.

Essential job Duties:

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, Villas such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces and sanitizes. Collecting of community resident linens.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor
• Store and lock all cleaning chemical in the housekeeping cart
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Attends in service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
• Maintains resident confidentiality at all times.
• Transporting clean and soiled linen to the housekeeping room.

Qualifications:

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
