Currently I have an opening for a Senior Research Associate located in Waltham, MA. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- The Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate will join the gene therapy immunology team at client’s Genomic Medicine Unit to provide bench-facing expertise in support of gene therapy platforms.
- Plan, execute and analyze in vitro / ex vivo studies using primary immune cells (from humans, mice and NHPs)
- Perform immunophenotyping using multicolor flow cytometry, FACS, and cellular immunology assays
- Design and execute common cell and molecular biology and biochemical assays
- Handle and isolate RNA/DNA/protein from rodent and mammalian tissues
- Independently execute experiments from detailed protocols and analysis of raw data
- Rigorously document experimental efforts, raw and analyzed data
- Clearly communicate results and activities with supervisor and colleagues
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 , master’s with 2 , recent PhD, with experience using Flow Cytometry and mammalian cell culturing (immune cells preferred)
Technical Information:
- 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion
- Pay: Depending on experience level and ranges from $50-$70 hourly
- Onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm
