Founded in 1913, the Guild of St. Agnes is the largest early education and care agency in Central Massachusetts serving almost 2,000 children in our centers and programs which are fully licensed by the MA Department of Early Education & Care (EEC). Our mission is to provide families with quality, affordable early childhood education and school age programs in a safe, nurturing environment.
The Kitchen Assistant is needed at our Webster location, and is responsible for helping prepare a high volume of meals and snacks for our early childcare and education program. They will follow established guidelines for kitchen safety and procedures, and ensure compliance with Federal, State, local government and agency expectations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Participate in food preparation, cooking, baking, and applying a solid understanding of allergies regarding food and health protocols.
- Monitor food safety and sanitation procedures, purchase goods and supplies, and stock inventory.
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen informing the Center Director when additional support is needed.
