The Hampton Inn Hotel is Hiring an Assistant Executive Housekeeper Near Front Royal, VA

The Aikens Group and the Hampton Inn in Front Royal are seeking an individual to become a part of an award-winning team. The chosen applicant will be awarded a full-time job with potential growth opportunities in the hotel industry.

We are looking for an Assistant Executive who will help be the support, heart, and smile for our team. He or she will help cover days off, inspect rooms, and help housekeeping staff clean rooms; based on hotel occupancy and needs.

The responsibilities and expectations of an Assistant Executive:

  • Cleaning rooms
  • Assist Executive with room inspections
  • Cover Executive on her days off
  • Helps to train new employees
  • Provide feedback
  • Help Housekeeping Manager where needed
  • Inventory tracking
  • Create work assignment boards
  • Help in laundry and with coverage
  • Help in Breakfast Bar and Public Space and with coverage
  • Listen and respond to guest requests and complaints
  • Provide guests with information about local attractions/services
  • Performing special projects designated by management
  • Reporting lost & found items
  • Inspecting rooms for safety and maintenance issues
  • Support housekeeping department with daily tasks

Qualifications include:

  • Individual must be self-motivating, personable, can deal with guest and vendors in a pleasant and professional manner
  • Must have the ability to multi-task
  • Be team oriented and promotes good work attitude and ethics.
  • She or he must be friendly, approachable, polite, professional, a team leader, positive role model, and motivator.
  • She or he must pose the ability to read and understand instructions, safety rules, manuals, etc.
  • Ability to write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
  • Speak with correct English and well-modulated voice.
  • Great customer service
  • The ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Must have ability to lift, bend, and move equipment
  • Must be able to be on one's feet for an extended period of time
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
