MRI Tech Aide

Novello Imaging, a brand-new state-of-the-art imaging center located in Traverse City, is expanding its services to meet the growing demand. As a result, we are hiring a part-time MRI Tech Aide with the potential to move to a full-time position. This role will require flexibility for availability of work, potentially as late as 9 pm, and will require weekends.

Novello Imaging focuses on the delivery of high-quality services of radiological needs, such as MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and X-Ray services. We work with all insurance as well as cash-paid services.

To be a successful MRI Tech Aide with Novello Imaging, you must treat our customers/patients the same way you would want your family members treated, which includes excellent communication and interpersonal skills and being sensitive to their specific needs. You should show attention to detail and be able to work in a team. The MRI Tech Aide's responsibilities include following instructions as directed by the MRI Technologist, participates in transportation, preparation, and screening of MRI patients, also responsible for clerical and housekeeping duties. You should show attention to detail and be able to work in a team. Additional duties may be assigned based on experience in the medical field.

Schedule: Must be flexible and willing to work between the hours of 7 am and 9 pm, with required weekend shifts as the need grows.

MRI Tech Aide Responsibilities:

· Explaining the MRI process to patients and ensuring the patients comply with all safety standards.

· Positioning, and possibly sedating, patients to capture clear images of the correct area of the body.

· Assist MRI team with room turnover.

· Performs clerical duties involved in processing patients and maintaining clinical documentation.

· Other duties as assigned.

MRI Tech Aide Requirements:

· Experience with patient care

· Attention to detail, mathematical skills, and technical skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to perform all responsibilities as a professional with diligence to established professional codes of conduct and ethics
