What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler position at The Heico Companies?
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Primary responsibility to assemble the processing equipment and systems (as work levels permit).
- Assemble Shredding Systems, compactors, separators, conveyors, stands, platforms, bin lifters, ram hoppers, etc., will also be required.
- Produce quality assemblies and sub-assemblies from engineering drawings, sketches and bills of material.
- Work to acceptable production and quality standards.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from Supervisor and Management.
- Adhere to Quality Procedures and work instructions.
- Undertake equipment maintenance and repairs at customer locations if required.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards as set out by CM Shredders H&S Policy. QUALIFICATIONS : Education :
- Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Experience :
- 3 to 5 years heavy industrial equipment assembly or experience in mechanical equipment maintenance. Specific Skill Ability and Knowledge :
- Working knowledge with blueprints, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
- Skilled in machine shop practice, welding and rigging of heavy equipment.
- Familiar with the use of measuring tools and safe operation of hand tools including grinders, drills, mechanical saws, sanders, buffers, etc.
- Capable to fit and assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Capable to receive job specific training.
- Follow and adhere to CM Shredders Quality Systems Procedures and work instructions.
