POSITION OVERVIEW
A Sports Food Server in a catering company plays a vital role similar to a cafeteria-style server in serving professional athletes at a local spring training facility in Tempe, and performing various tasks to ensure a pleasant dining experience for athletes, ranging from maintaining a clean dining room to providing excellent customer service and adhering to health and safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Serving food to professional athletes promptly and maintaining order in lines
- Washing dishes and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room.
- Assisting athletes by providing necessary information about the menu and/or any concerns regarding the services
- Adhering to food safety and health regulations
- Collaborating with all staff to ensure smooth operations and help in other areas as needed/required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have an active food handlers card.
- Must have food safety skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to working hours, as event schedules require.
- Being bi-lingual is a major plus.
- Must be friendly, reliable, and punctual.
