Job Title: Shift Assistant Manager
Reports to: General Manager (GM)

Our Shift Assistant Manager maintains operations, fosters a cohesive work environment, supports the onsite staff, and acts as a back-up for the GM for operational needs.
Greet customers and provide the best customer service upon their arrival to our store.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Back-up Budtender when needed
- Train, and evaluate budtender performance, give in the moment feedback to budtenders and co-workers as appropriate.
- Act as back-up to the General Manager in all areas of store operations and employee relation matters.
- Support and carry-out established goals, objectives, and procedures for the department.
- Instruct and support all store staff on how to handle difficult customer situations.
- Maintain knowledge of strains, products, consumption methods, and cannabis culture.
- Maintain a clean and presentable appearance of the dispensary.
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant.
- Have knowledge of all current products and maintain the menu accurately.
- Maintain an organized and accurate till.
- Restock all materials and products as necessary.
- Responsible for accurate cash handling.
- Follow state regulations and established policies and procedures.
- Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system and all cash handling.
- Accurate and timely data entry of customer information.
- Verifying proper ID for customers.
- Provide outstanding customer service with compassionate and professional representation.
- Follow opening and closing procedures.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit
- 2 year Customer Service experience
- Knowledge of computer and office equipment and programs
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to maintain professionalism
- Ability to have attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress, and busy foot traffic
- Ability to properly delegate
Physical Requirements:
- Extended time standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching
- Close visual focus required
- This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects
