Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDC (Chef de Cuisine) for Upscale, Casual Restaurant to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The CDC will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
$75K Plus quarterly and annual bonus potential
Duties
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Develop and maintain menu items, recipes, and food preparation standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative dishes and specials
- Maintain a positive work environment and uphold kitchen morale
## Skills
### Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or higher position in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Culinary degree or relevant certification
- Experience in steakhouse or fine dining establishments
