Main Responsibilities of a Host/Hostess:

• Greeting and seating guests when entering restaurant
• Taking to go orders
• Providing outstanding customer service

Host Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified Host to welcome and greet our guests, seat them in a timely manor.
A good host must check every visitor who comes to our restaurant and seat them in our reservation platform. He or she will need to handle a variety of tasks including phone calls, processing to go orders, being aware of the flow of the restaurant at all times and communicating with servers, bartenders and management as needed.
A good job candidate must be professional and friendly, especially when dealing with guests. Excellent service is a must for great customer experiences.
Responsibilities of a Host:

• Welcoming and greeting clients
• Performing temperature checks and ensuring guests are following covid guidelines
• Directing clients to their table
• Using seating/reservation software
• Answering and forwarding phone calls
• Scheduling reservations
• Organizing and distributing mail
• Taking to go

Orders

• Preparing restaurant for opening
• Keeping the host stand area clean and well-organized
• Providing delightful customer service

Host Job Requirements:

• Must be available weekends including Sundays
• Experience in customer service a plus
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Great telephone communication skills

• Good skills with app type of software
