Job Summary
Our ministry is looking for a dedicated and competent Admin Associate to join our faith based team. The ideal candidate will undertake this role in a variety of activities supporting administrative and clerical tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in various software applications, maintaining best practices/procedures and the ability to communicate effectively.
Duties
- Efficient in various apps to accomplish requirements of job (Microsoft, Google, Word, Planning Center, Calendars, etc)
- Answer phone/email: provide information or direct call/email to appropriate person.
- Moderate/Host weekly interactive zoom class.
- Assist with calendar management to coordinate appointments and meetings.
- Assist in office work, organization and new students upon enrollment.
- Maintain organized records and files to ensure easy access to information.
- Volunteer and Mentor scheduling/coordination.
- Handles various office duties for president, exec team, staff and volunteers.
- Undertake basic workflows both ministry and school.
- Take meeting minutes and dictations if necessary.
- Provide customer service to all enrolled and prospective students
- Regular scheduled emails to students.
- Perform other office duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as admin associate or other admin/clerical positions 2 years or more preferred.
- Proficiency in Google, Miscrosoft, Planning Center.
- Decisive and critical thinker.
- Strong organizational skills and efficient multi-tasking abilities, allocating time.
- Shows commitment to work.
- Acts with integrity - demonstrates principled leadership and sound ethics..
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive optimistic outlook that demonstrates friendly and approachable demeanor towards colleagues.
- High School Diploma.
