We are looking for a dedicated Assistant General Manager (AGM) with a strong background in hospitality and accounting to join our team. This role will support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and providing financial oversight. The ideal candidate will have both leadership experience in hospitality and a good understanding of accounting processes to help manage operational budgets and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the hotel or hospitality establishment.
- Experience with payroll.
- Oversee and coordinate departments, including front desk, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by addressing guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Manage and review financial operations, including payroll management, vendor payments, and cost control.
- Help monitor and improve profitability by managing expenses and optimizing revenue streams.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to create strategies for increased guest satisfaction and business growth.
- Lead and mentor department heads and assist in the hiring and training of new staff.
- Assist with managing inventory, supplies, and vendor relations to maintain smooth operations.
- Step into the General Manager’s role when needed, ensuring business continuity in their absence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of [2] years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, restaurant) and experience with accounting practices.
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations, with expertise in at least one operational area (e.g., front desk or housekeeping).
- Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, payroll, and revenue management.
