Audiologist Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team in Jackson, TN, 38305. The Audiologist will be responsible for providing a range of patient-related services, including:
- Audiometric evaluations, including impedance testing
- Hearing aid dispensing
- Auditory Brainstem Response testing
- Electronystagmography (ENG) evaluations
- Neonatal hearing screenings with Distortion Product Otoacoustic emissions (DPOAE)
- Industrial audiology services
- Providing audiologic test services for ENT department during scheduled clinic hours
The Audiologist will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Audiology Department. They must possess knowledge of standard operating techniques for basic types of diagnostics, audiometric equipment, proper techniques for handling patients and performing audiometric procedures, as well as for dispensing hearing assistance devices.
The ideal candidate will have a M.S. degree in Audiology, but a Doctorate is preferred. Certification by ASHA-CCC-A or certification by the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA) is required. A Tennessee State License for Audiology and Hearing Aid dispensing is also required.
