Job Description:
A health client is looking for a Bilingual Medicare Sales Agent to sell Medicare plans to bilingual, Spanish-speaking leads. This consultant will manage all customer service inquiries that arise with their book of business. This opportunity is expected to be 3 months with potential for permanent hire. This person must work in-office in New York five days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Sell Medicare plans to bilingual, Spanish-speaking leads.
- Meet minimum phone time of 3.5 hours per day in an 8-hour work day.
- Vet customers, perform initial intake, make plan recommendations and enroll clients in the appropriate plan.
- Manage all customer service inquiries that arise within book of business.
- Spend working hours calling leads, updating records and keeping data organized.
- Close 15 sales per month, contingent upon the quality of provided lead sources.
Requirements:
- Specific knowledge of insurance products and Medicare landscape
- Availability to work in-office in New York, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- 2 years of experience in Medicare Advantage sales
- Active Medicare sales license in New York
- Active contract at the time of hire, preferably with all major carriers
- Excellent communication skills
