Job Description:
The individual in this position must have strong communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Review incoming submissions to determine correct service branch and customer group.
- Performs Agency Licensing validation.
- Index all supporting documentation in the underwriting file.
- Complete entry with the appropriate name clearance system and index all supporting documentation in the underwriting file.
- Enter prospects according to business rules.
- Generate correspondence related to new line submissions per corporate rules.
- Broker of Record changes, loss runs, work order creation.
- Loss control reports, closeouts, do not review and cancellations.
- Proof of coverage notices, indexing and workload management
- Organize work effectively to meet business objectives.
- Demonstrate timely responsiveness to customer requests.
- Understand customer needs and act on them.
- Listen carefully and attentively.
- Ask questions to clarify expectations and issues.
- Communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of business unit objectives.
- Be familiar with basic workflows and procedures.
- Understand customer service targets.
- Knowledge of underwriting principles, underwriting information, policy coverages and key endorsements.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and terminology.
- Develop proficiency in applicable technology and processing tools.
- Ability to work within various automation frameworks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of experience in data entry, with knowledge of Excel
