Job Description

We are currently seeking a Placement Specialist and/or CLAM . This is an exciting opportunity to work in a relaxed and family-oriented culture while having access to the resources of a corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling expiration lists, marketing new and renewal business, and building strong relationships with carriers.

Responsibilities

• Handle expiration lists of the book
• Send out pre-renewal and start the renewal
• Investigate coverage and perform coverage analysis
• Quote new/renewal business
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers
• Conduct presentations, handle questions, and issue certificates and endorsements
• Marketing new and renewal business
• Understand the appetite of each carrier
• Conduct online rating
• Multitask and work well with others
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong initiative and multitasking abilities
• Well-organized with an easy-going personality
• Ability to switch gears quickly
• Experience in handling a variety of different personalities
• Familiarity with insurance software such as Vertafore, Zywave, and Epic
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Preferred years of experience: 3
  
  

Day-to-day

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling expiration lists, marketing new and renewal business, and building strong relationships with carriers. They will also be required to quote new/renewal business and conduct online rating.
