Electrical Field Technician

Position: Field Technician
Pay: $20-$24/hour

We partner with utilities and government agencies to offer energy-saving solutions. As a DLC Technician, you’ll help install, modify, inspect, and service energy efficiency devices in residential homes. You'll be working with customers to make a direct impact on their energy use while ensuring top-notch service.

What You’ll Do:

• Install, inspect, and service Direct Load Control (DLC) devices
• Troubleshoot systems and apply basic knowledge
• Work closely with customers, providing professional and courteous service
• Ensure jobs meet safety and company standards
• Occasionally travel to meet customers' needs and participate in on-call rotations for after-hours service

What You Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in , wiring, or related fields
• Basic construction and building knowledge
• Hands-on experience with tools and installations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks (walking, climbing, kneeling)
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Travel:

• 95% travel required.
