What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Office Administrator position at The Judge Rotenberg Center?
Essential duties;
- Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations in the medical office.
- Manages and coordinates administrative services, prepares periodic practice metrics and statistics.
- Supervises clerical staff to ensure quality processing of medical care documentation.
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
- Coordinate weekly doctor appointment schedule.
- Facilitate communications between Parents/Guardians and the JRC Nurses on any concerns.
- Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding of LPN’s and RN’s.
Requirements:
- Require a Medical Office administration certification/degree or a combination with experience.
- Typically requires 3 years of Medical Office managerial experience.
- Stamina and physical endurance for elongated and demanding schedule
- Possess excellent problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Computer hardware and the Microsoft office suite.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
