KCL seeks a talented Commerce Deal Writer to join our team and contribute to our thriving content ecosystem.This is a full-time remote position (5 days a week), Monday - Friday, with hours of 10 am EST to 6 pm EST.
As a Commerce Deal Writer, you will be responsible for finding, building and writing top-performing deal content.

HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT: PLEASE WRITE ONE RETAIL POST:
Head to a Retail store you like shopping at, or are familiar with, and write a post featuring a deal you found

Before you leave for the stores, check out The Krazy Coupon Lady . Be aware of the deals we’ve already posted—we want to see something new from this assignment
For the post, write a short “beginner friendly” intro, add a title, featured image, and calculate the final price
Be sure to include what the deal or sale is, how the shopper can get it, and why it's a good deal.

In this role you will:

• Find the best sales from top performing stores and on top-performing products for our readers
• Build deal posts in our CMS from start to finish, including utilization of graphic design tools (Canva) and affiliate link-building
• Write short posts on each deal, explaining what is on sale and how to get it for less
• Continually analyze deal performance and self-adjust pitches and writing for consistent growth
• Connect, support, and learn from the team remotely via Slack and Zoom meetings

About You:

• Education: BA or BS
• Previous Experience: 2 years of writing experience in a high-volume environment, with a background in creating commerce content for an online publication
• Highly detail-oriented
• A technology whiz who can learn new programs and processes quickly
• Proven experience in writing, editing, and self-publishing clean, clear, concise content
• Fast and thorough
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Highly responsive to direction and open to feedback
• Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis

Physical Requirements
