What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landlord Engagement Navigator position at The Lehigh Conference of Churches?
Essential duties and responsibilities:
1. Build relationships with landlords and management companies to obtain first notification of available units.
2. Create weekly “open unit” list for case managers and non-Conference staff.
3. Manage database for Lehigh Valley landlords.
4. Maintain the Conference’s Master Lease insurance database
5. Become active in the landlord community to identify housing for homeless people with barriers and disabilities.
6. Create/facilitate training for landlords and/or renters.
7. Provide mediation for housing issues that may arise
8. Perform unit move-in and move-out inspections, as needed.
9. Review the risk mitigation fund requests from partnering landlords and determine with Risk Mitigation committee.
10. Other duties, as assigned.
