Job Title: Regional Manager – Driving School
Location: Southern Region of CT
Reports To: Associate Director of Driver Education
Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 5:30 pm) with flexibility as needed

Overview:
A Regional Manager at The Next Street is an exceptional leader that is responsible for the well-being of a geographic region of The Next Street’s business operations and fulfillment. Regional Managers will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and build an outstanding team culture. Your duties will include recruiting, interviewing, hiring and management to a staff of 40-50 employees, including evaluating performance objectives and compensation. You are responsible for building The Next Street’s award-winning company culture into the Region that you oversee. You will be accountable for the well-being of your region’s fleet, facilities and supply creation and will manage your team to ensure that all necessary tasks are being completed and processes are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Recruit, interview, hire, and develop a team of instructors. Create a team environment where each member can thrive.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure that all locations within your region are operating efficiently. This includes managing vehicle fleets, overseeing facility maintenance and coordinating lesson schedules to meet demand.
- Performance Management: Set performance goals, conduct regular one-on-one meetings and oversee professional development plans. Recognize and reward top performers and address any performance concerns swiftly.
- Business Growth: Use data and performance metrics to drive business growth, increase student enrollment, and maintain our competitive edge in the region.
- Fleet and Facilities Management: Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations. Manage relationships with service providers and oversee facilities to ensure they meet company standards.
- Culture Champion: Foster and maintain The Next Street’s core values of kindness, positivity, and curiosity. Organize team-building events and lead by example to create a positive work environment.

- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate information concisely and professionally with internal and external audiences.

- Technologically savvy and able to use and teach others how to use basic Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Planner, and Teams
- Outstanding leadership capabilities, especially the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
Required Qualifications:
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Staff Supervisory experience
- Valid Driver’s License for at least 5 years, with no suspensions.
- Excellent Driving Record
- Willingness and ability to travel around the State of Connecticut (vehicle stipend or mileage reimbursement provided)

Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
