Job Title: Senior Endpoint Engineering Analyst 3 Department: Engineering | Engineering Technology Services The Senior Endpoint Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of system configurations, standard images, applications, compliance policies, patches, and third-party updates for all OSU College of Engineering Windows and Apple endpoints. They will serve as the technical lead for Windows and Apple endpoint management tools including Microsoft Configuration Manager, Intune, and JAMF. The Senior Endpoint Engineer provisions, manages, and maintains cloud and on premises servers and services that support endpoint management. They develop and maintain Group Policy to ensure consistent user experience and security compliance. They provision, manage, and maintain endpoint event collection services for the College and help develop and perform administrative tasks related to anti-virus and endpoint vulnerability detection and remediation. This position is for an experienced, self-motivated individual to lead projects and oversee the daily execution of processes, operations, and support activities for client technologies. This position works closely with Security, Operations, and Client Services staff to ensure that best-practices and procedures are followed, and that technologies are efficiently and effectively utilized. Diligently adheres to change management and ITIL standards related to service request fulfillment and incident resolution. This position will occasionally need to work extended hours to support maintenance, upgrade, or outage restoration and avoidance related activities. Other duties as assigned. Hiring restrictions: Must be a US person. Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Additional Information: Desired Experience: 5 years’ experience managing and administrating Microsoft Configuration Manger including site server administration. 5 years’ experience working with Active Directory and AD integrated services. Proficient in creating and troubleshooting Group Policy. Proficient in writing and customizing PowerShell scripts. Experience with Azure AD, Intune, and Autopilot. Experience managing Apple endpoints using JAMF. Experience managing and maintaining SQL databases. Experience managing and maintaining Windows event collector, Splunk, or other log aggregation tools. Salary Range: $79,000-$105,000 Location: Hitchcock Hall (0274) Position Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Shift: First Shift Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
