The #1 Priority of this position is…
To assist the Director of Food Services in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise, train and prepare daily schedule for the waiters and waitresses.
Manage breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
Maintain standards for safety, sanitation and storage of food supplies.
Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members.
Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent (GED).
At least two (2) years of experience in food service.
Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.
Basic math skills required.
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements.
Must be familiar with AHCA Regulations, State and Federal Laws.

Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
