ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Director to establish and optimize supply chain operations for turbojet engines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and inventory control within the aerospace sector. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
You will be part of the leadership team as they stand up a new facility in Roswell, GA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support the production and delivery of turbojet engines.
- Oversee procurement processes, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management.
- Manage logistics and distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished products.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with production schedules and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, shortages, and quality issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve operational excellence.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to drive innovation in supply chain practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, procurement practices, logistics, and inventory management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains and delivering results.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Salary : $150,000 - $220,000
