What are the responsibilities and job description for the ECommerce Lead (Amazon) position at The PCA Group?
Created 36 years ago, the PCA Group of Companies (PCA) is a privately owned, global beauty holding company. Currently being led by the founders and the next generation of the family, the Group spans ~1500 employees in 5 geographic locations around the world, focused on omnichannel distribution and fulfillment for the beauty category. Multiple subsidiaries with a distinct leadership, business direction, and separate financial structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage a small team of E-Commerce Specialists, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Product Management: Create and optimize product listings, descriptions, and content across e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon FBA/FBM, Walmart, Overstock, eBay, Alibaba, Tmall, JD, TikTok).
- Data Management: Consolidate and manage product data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with account managers on promotions, creative assets, new products, and feature launches.
- Sales Optimization: Optimize listings and implement strategic keyword planning to maximize sales and improve ratings.
- Business Development: Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with local and international companies, identifying new markets and expanding the customer base.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate business and account performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
- Profitability Management: Analyze costs and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
- Account Oversight: Manage accounts, including sell-in strategies, new business development, and meeting seasonal and quarterly sales goals.
- Problem-Solving: Monitor account performance and customer service, addressing issues and identifying new opportunities promptly.
Qualifications:
- Managerial Experience: Minimum 1 year required.
- E-commerce Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred.
- MS Office Proficiency: Skilled in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Time Management: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Customer Support: Proven experience in providing excellent customer support.
- E-commerce Sales: Experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in e-commerce sales.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and grow.
- Work Schedule: Must be able to work in person 5 days a week at our Ronkonkoma office.
