Job Description:
Financial Analyst
Working directly with Director of FP&A, this role will be focused on managing Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) activities, commissions, sales flash reporting, budget to actual expense reporting, inventory analysis and other FP&A reporting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in accounting, with a deep understanding of complex revenue-related processes, financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Assist in the financial management of GPO contracts and related financial arrangements. Ensure proper accounting and reporting for GPO-related rebates, fees and pricing structures.
- Calculate and report GPO admin fees on a monthly basis.
- Lead projects as assigned from inception to successful conclusion
- Review quotes to ensure compliance with purchase agreements
- Communicate changes to GPO account members to Salesforce admin team.
- Resolve issues and field questions from the sales and support teams.
- Effectively communicate with various levels of management and international colleagues.
- Collaborate with Sales and Payroll for the calculation of sales commissions.
- Generate and distribute the daily sales flash report.
- Produce monthly budget vs. actual expense reports for each department and communicate the results with budget owners.
- Perform a monthly inventory analysis and collaborate with Operations on their inventory analysis.
- Other special projects as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar analytical role with proven expertise working within a finance or sales operations environment for a manufacturer.
- Bachelor’s degree required, majoring in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, exhibiting creative problem solving.
- Ability to analyze and document processes with a history of success in recommending process improvements.
- Expert ability in Excel required, and strong MS Office skills overall.
- Autonomous, with superb communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, tact, professionalism and integrity
- Ability to utilize strong interpersonal and customer service skills to confidently work with internal and external people at all levels, including senior management
- Thrives under pressure and comfortable with deadlines
- Team player possessing initiative and motivation to work unsupervised
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
