The Price Center provides internship opportunities for dedicated students pursuing degrees in a range of majors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist staff in providing direct care.
- Learning and practicing basic medical procedures
- Assisting with individual mobility and comfort measures.
- Observing and participating in therapeutic activities and exercises.
- Providing emotional support to individuals.
- Participating in case conferences and care planning meetings.
- Documenting interactions and interventions accurately and confidentially.
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift and support body weight with assistance
Preferred:
- Ability to write clearly
- Basic computer skills
