What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grand Rapids Utility/Trash Valet - 1st shift position at THE PROFESSIONAL GROUP?
We are currently looking for one 1st shift Trash Valet. While we are willing to provide training to the right candidate, you should have some janitorial experience and familiarity with various cleaning products, techniques, and equipment. The duties of this position require a valid drivers license
POSITION REQUIREMENTS – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Able to take direction and follow through with assignments
- Must be able to safely operate all equipment associated with cleaning
- Willingness to train others in the proper use of equipment and ability to maintain equipment
- Promote and exhibit Company culture and values
- Willingness to travel to multiple accounts
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Adhere to all applicable safety practices
- Other duties as assigned by management
ESSENTAIL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High School Diploma/GED. Will consider experience in lieu of educational requirements
- 1 plus years of experience in janitorial services with training in floor care, power washing, etc.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment
- Good communication skills and ability to read and write English
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking and kneeling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Operate floor care machinery for long periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
