About this Role! The Regional Property Supervisor works directly with property owners of multi-family properties in Los Angeles and surrounding areas to provide property owners excellent services such as repositioning, capital improvements, managing special subsidiary programs along with managing the daily operations of a portfolio.

Duties

  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Act as the main point of contact for property owners and staff
  • Efficiently manage rent collection and property expenses
  • Prepare and submit property budgets and financials monthly
  • Lead a team of property staff to ensure property is maintained up to company standards, including the curb appeal
  • Ensure vacancies are filled no more than 30 days vacant
  • Follow all move out mandate, including processing timely deposits and maintaining accurate property records
  • As part of the hiring team, conduct in person interviews and make hiring decisions per Equal Employer Opportunity practices
  • As a leader in the operations department, regularly assess portfolio needs by routinely evaluating staff performance, including training, coaching, counseling, and staff changes
  • Other duties assigned

Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience supervising staff and of managing a portfolio of properties
  • Proficient Knowledge of California Property Management Policies and Procedures
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Proficient understanding of the 30-day resident transaction cycle
  • Experience with the leasing process
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Ability to follow new processes
  • Ability to guide property staff according to Fair Housing Requirements
  • Yardi Voyager Experience (Preferred)
  • Certification in Fair Housing (Preferred)
  • Real Estate License (Preferred)

Travel Requirements : Travel for this position requires you to have reliable transportation. Travel requirements may change at any time. Physical Requirements : require persons in this position to lift up to 35lbs and wear face covering when working with the public or in close proximity to other staff necessary.
