Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, oversight, coordination, management support and technical expertise for all projects to include: safety, operations, planning, scheduling, cost monitoring, cost reporting, customer reporting, performance tracking, budgeting, estimating, change orders, and staff development, associated with renewable energy electrical construction.
- Work closely with Project Managers and customers to assure crews and contractors are coordinated to work efficiently and meet contracting requirements, budgets, forecasts and schedules. Ensures that barriers to construction progress are removed in a timely manner.
- Promote and develop common processes to provide for proper accounting, reporting of project costs, customer billing, scheduling, material procurement, record keeping, documentation and budgeting by Project Managers.
- Interface with key customers to ensure that construction activities are communicated.
- Coordinates and directs the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and analyzes and reports variances.
Experience
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Extensive project management skills with a track record of achievement of complex projects
- Ability to analyze complex information and formulate decisions.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting methods
- Ability to provide oversight to numerous projects throughout the country
- Extensive knowledge of business, financial, and project management principles and practices.
- Ability to understand workflow, identify process improvements, summarize issues, and make recommendations to management
- Proven leadership, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication, time management, and facilitation skills
- Ability to take initiative, own tasks, and be flexible regarding changing priorities.
- Ability to strategically think through initiatives, issues, and opportunities while contemplating unintended consequences
- Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
- Functional computer skills including familiarity with Adobe,
- Primavera and Microsoft Office programs
Qualifications
- Extensive (5 years) construction experience, preferably on renewable energy projects
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical
- Engineering, or applicable work experience.

Pay: $92,236.00 - $99,732.00 per year
