The Material Handler is responsible for preparation and provision of correct material to molding machines. The position covers all aspects of resin and raw material handling including moving/mixing raw materials, maintaining material environmental controls, processing regrinds, and all associated duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Three (3) months to one (1) year related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). No college degree is required for this position but would be helpful in the advancement opportunity.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Locates materials and supplies by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in the staging area or at the machine per the Bill of Material (BOM)
- Calculate, measure and blend material as required
- Maintains in-process inventory at workstations by delivering or restocking materials and supplies
- Keep machines and workstation free of loose material
- Ensure all raw materials are taken to designated return area at the completion of each job
- Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to Company policies, procedures, safety standards and good housekeeping practices
- Communicate material shortages or issues to management
- Other duties as assigned

- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and adapt
- Good verbal communication
- Good mathematical skills
- High level attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment and as well as work independently
- Engage in frequent bending or stooping
- May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
