The Scion Group is Hiring a Leasing Manager Near Mount Pleasant, MI

Your Opportunity

Scion is paving a path in student living and we’re seeking a talented Leasing Manager to join us in executing our vision. This position is responsible for the leasing activities, training, review and coaching of all sales staff, resident customer service and prospect management responsibilities.

The Leasing Manager is someone who will successfully create and implement plans to lease-up from year to year. This position requires a passion for sales training, analysis and strategy, while supporting revenue and sales goals by implementing customer experience initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leasing and Sales
    • Collaborate with Centralized Sales Team on overall leasing strategy and executes renewal strategies.
    • Coordinate and manage the leasing process including: prospect management, application processing, Housing Agreement fulfillment, addendums, delegations, mutual terminations, room assignments and general lease paperwork.
    • Assist with all customer sales interactions, both personally and through directing team members in alignment with company standards.
    • Evaluate site staff regarding leasing, marketing and customer skills and progress and make recommendations to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager for additional coaching or necessary changes to personnel.
  • Planning and Budgeting
  • Responsible for the achievement of leasing and sales goals and financial objectives.
  • Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to site level management team.
  • Create short- and long-term leasing goals for each Experience Team Member
  • Keep informed of developments in the fields of leasing, sales, marketing and the student housing industry.
  • Customer Experience
  • Propose customer experience initiatives, engagement initiatives, and additional marketing opportunities.
  • Manage promotional material and property incentives meeting marketing and concession budget.
  • Utilize KPIs to report on trends, insights and proactively address issues.
  • Execute social media and communication strategies on various platforms to engage customers.

Operational Details

  • Job location is at the assigned property. May be required to travel periodically.
  • Serves in an “on-call” capacity, except during approved PTO periods.
