Position Description :
Performs a broad variety of customer services such as opening new accounts, customer problem resolution and miscellaneous service requests. Assists Branch Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the branch, may assist in supervision of lobby staff, fill in as a CSR as needed.
Assist Branch Manager in developing knowledge and experience of branch staff
Provide customer service functions such as processing all types of transactions, opening new accounts, preparing paperwork and cross-selling banks products and services.
Answer phones and respond to customer questions in a timely manner.
May perform all CSR duties as needed
Complies with government regulations and BSA
May work with Branch Manager on loan inquiries and applications.
Travel may be required
On time and regular attendance is required
Deliver professional and courteous communication with current customers, potential customers, employees, referral sources, and management
Timely responses to inquiries, ongoing updates, follow-up, etc.
Maintain branch quality standards as set forth by management
Assist branch staff as needed regarding day-to-day activities, conflict resolution, authorizations, etc.
Exhibit a working knowledge of applicable bank policies and procedures including but not limited to, internal and external compliance requirements, state and federal regulations and guidelines, etc. Complies with government regulations and BSA.
Provide a high level of customer service while balancing the requirements of the policies and procedures of the bank and the products / programs being utilized to service the customer.
Participate in necessary meetings including but not limited to weekly staff meetings, periodic department or team meetings.
Assists with any other duties as directed or required by the Branch Manager or Supervisor.
