The Warehouse Worker II is an intermediate-level position responsible for executing a range of warehouse operations with increased independence and expertise. This role builds upon foundational skills to include more complex tasks, such as operating specialized equipment, training new team members, and ensuring compliance with inventory and quality standards. The Warehouse Worker II plays a key role in supporting the efficiency and accuracy of the warehouse's day-to-day operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Pick orders from warehouse shelves using handheld scanners and pick lists.
- Verify order accuracy and ensure correct items and quantities are being picked.
- Pack, load, and ship items to customer requirements.
- Label packages with correct shipping information.
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Receive incoming shipments and process them in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work safely, quickly and efficiently to handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Operate various power equipment such as reach trucks, lift trucks and forklifts.
- Engage in problem-solving to support continuous improvement
- Maintains a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

The Warehouse Worker role requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Employees must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods. The job may also involve operating machinery, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, requiring hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
