Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction with their orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and manage tabs accurately.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible serving practices.
- Participate in special events or catering services as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a related role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is advantageous.
- Experience working in nightclubs, restaurants, or catering environments is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
