JOB TITLE: Light Industrial - Material Handler

LOCATION: Greenville, SC

PAY RATE: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Details:

• 12-month contract with opportunities for extension

• 1st shift position.

• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.

Summary:

• Receive, break down, and distribute materials from the Local Distribution Center (LDC).

• Sort and place materials in specific Bench Stock Locations (BSL).

• Conduct inventory using a Windows Tablet and download scans at the end of each day.

• Handle co-mingled property within the BSLs, assisting customers as needed.

• Research alternate locations and transfer materials to close Work Stoppages and restock bins.

• Identify and process items requiring Shelf Life or Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection.

• Walk between multiple facilities to stock customer locations.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong self-management skills and effective communication with peers, customers, and senior management.

• Previous experience in Warehouse or Customer Service roles.

• Familiarity with Handheld Scanners/Tablets.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk (3-5 miles), and work 8-9 hours per day.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Experience in Shipping and Receiving.

• Knowledge of shelf-life and Electrostatic Discharge processes.

• Familiarity with AutoCribs (parts vending) is a plus.
