Pilates Instructor

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates and a deep understanding of body mechanics and physiology. As a Pilates Instructor, you will lead engaging classes, educate clients on proper techniques, and help them achieve their fitness goals in a supportive environment.

Duties

• Conduct group and individual Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels.
• Educate clients on the principles of Pilates, body mechanics, and proper alignment.
• Develop customized workout plans that meet the specific needs of clients.
• Monitor participants during sessions to ensure safety and correct form.
• Provide modifications and progressions for exercises as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio environment.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of physiology and body mechanics.
• Experience in Pilates instruction; certification is required.
• Background in dance, yoga, or personal training is a plus.
• Ability to educate clients effectively on fitness techniques and principles.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on motivation and encouragement.
• Ability to adapt classes for different fitness levels, including cycle training if applicable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 3 per week

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• AED Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
