We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician to join our Timken Aurora Bearing team and play a key role in optimizing our production processes to meet customer demands effectively.
Position Overview :
The Quality Assurance Lab Technician will follow routine protocols, perform analyses, testing and provide detailed reports on various products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform all duties as assigned in a safe and efficient manner with emphasis on quality. Follow Company and departmental procedures, including regular attendance and punctuality. Follow all safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Competently utilize various equipment including tensile and wear test equipment and methods to provide data on Aurora Bearing Company and competitor's products as required.
- Perform test programs to verify performance ratings on existing and prototype production parts.
- Perform testing on competitor product with similar testing as applied to Aurora Bearing product for comparison values.
- Prepare reports, charts and graphs containing test result data as appropriate.
- Maintain and set-up equipment used in testing.
- Uses computer and software such as CAD, Word, and Excel to compile data and prepare reports.
- Maintains and controls archive of test data / reports and related specimens.
- Develops tooling / fixturing to support test activities.
- Develop internal procedures / work instructions, as necessary.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $19.50 -$22.62 per hour and is commensurate on experience and education. This full-time position is eligible to participate in the paid time off plan, 401k, and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
