Lead Bartender

Are you ready to bring your leadership skills to an exciting new bar in the heart of Medina, NY? We’re looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our team!

About Us:
Our bar is the go-to destination for great drinks, delicious bites, and unforgettable nights. With a focus on exceptional service and a lively atmosphere, we aim to create a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Support the Bar Manager in hiring, training, and scheduling staff.
• Maintain inventory, place orders, and monitor stock levels.
• Help design and implement creative drink menus and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as liquor laws.
• Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
• Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Monitor bar performance metrics and assist in achieving revenue goals.
• Build sales as a high performing bartender-working a mix of day and night shifts as well as weekends/events (approx 30 hrs per week)
• Control liquor and beer inventory-by placing orders, rotating product and working with reps and gm to keep product list fresh.
• Manage bartending staff-help them to set and meet sales and skill goals.
• Create a safe and appealing atmosphere in bar and dining room with high standard for cleanliness.
• Collaborate with GM on seasonal drink specials and promotions as well as special events.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a bar or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Certification in alcohol service training (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) is a plus.
• 2 years bartending experience
• Quick, energetic personality
• Willingness to cook
• Strong sales skills
• Familiarity with inventory management
• 21 years old
• Passion for creating and making craft cocktails
• Excellent communication skills
