About the Role & Team
Disney’s Direct to Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.
The Disney Global Content Programming and Subscriber Engagement team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.
What You Will Do
The Content Planning Manager, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Content Planning, will oversee daily tracking of Disney slate updates and collaborate with teams across Finance, Operations, Studios, Networks, and international Programming to ensure alignment and process adherence. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day tracking of slate updates within the content planning lifecycle, coordinating with key stakeholders (including executives).
- Partner with internal teams to monitor and communicate programming intent for the content slate.
- Support the Sr. Manager with special ad hoc projects related to the function, such as creating frameworks and processes to scale global slate planning.
- Prepare summaries, presentations, and status reports for key stakeholders and executives.

Education
The hiring range for this position in CA is $84,500.00 to $113,300.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
