Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 Hourly

Description

OVERVIEW: Assists Residents and visitors of St. Mark Village by providing information, direction and resources, also coordinates and schedules transportation. Blood and body fluids exposure: Category III.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Keeps confidential all information not specifically authorized to be given to others.
  • Potentially the first point of contact between guests and St. Mark Village, and must conduct themselves consistently within the Mission and Values of St. Mark Village.
  • Coordinate all Drivers assignments and schedules.
  • Receive and schedule all transportation needs for all St. Mark Village areas including: ILC, ALC, Betty Fresh Center, HCC, ALH and SCC.
  • Acting as a point of reference for all Visitors and Residents who need assistance.
  • Understanding Residents needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by St. Mark Village or the surrounding area.
  • Is available at station in Front Lobby to answer inquiries from Visitors and Residents, such as to include but not limited to the following:
    • how to navigate campus
    • how to get to Highland Lakes Assisted Living
    • get a wheelchair
    • assist with packages
    • retrieve luggage cart
    • give directions
    • make reservations (dinner, airline, etc.)
    • coordinate travel plans
    • who to call on Campus based on individuals need
  • Reports any unusual conduct of Residents to Manager.
  • Observes and follows safety policies and procedures.
  • Observes and follows infection control policies and procedures.
  • Attends all mandatory in-services as required.
  • Demonstrates positive guest relations to internal and external customers.
  • Team Members are required to report to their Department Director all incidents of actual or possible abuse of a Resident that they become aware of. Abuse in this respect includes, but is not limited to, verbal, sexual, physical, and/or mental abuse, corporal punishment, involuntary seclusion, neglect, and/or any misappropriation of property concerning St. Mark Village Residents. Team Members will make the report as soon as possible after they become aware of the incident of actual or possible abuse.
  • May be assigned other related duties and responsibilities as required by the resident Services Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be courteous, considerate and understanding when dealing with Residents, team members and visitors. Ability to work in close cooperation with others. Must have a good driving record for the past three years and be good reliable person.

REQUIRED SKILL, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILL:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to Residents, visitors, and Team Members of the facility.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILTIY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must have a valid Florida Drivers License.
