Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas of our community. This is a vital role in ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing
- Clean and sanitize bedrooms, bathrooms, carpets, kitchens, and common areas
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products in public bathrooms
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and disinfectants
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with floor care procedures (e.g., carpet cleaning, waxing)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
