We are looking for a Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting medication administration and any observed effects or side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or changes in condition following medication administration.
- Provide support and assistance to patients in daily living activities as needed, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Educate patients and their families about medication regimens, potential side effects, and the importance of adherence to prescribed treatments.
- Uphold strict confidentiality standards regarding patient information and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology .
