Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at CT Tec. The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients for interpretation by radiologists. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans according to established protocols and in a timely manner
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and providing diagnostic information
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to appropriate personnel
- Follow all radiation safety protocols and guidelines to minimize exposure risks
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- ARRT certification in computed tomography (CT)
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CT Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
