Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and accurate imaging results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to them
2. Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible image
3. Operate and maintain imaging equipment
4. Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety
5. Assist physicians in interpreting and analyzing imaging results
6. Maintain patient records and documentation
7. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to minimize radiation exposure
8. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure their comfort throughout the imaging process
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
2. ARRT certification
3. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
7. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
8. Ability to adapt to new technology and procedures in the field of radiology
