Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, operating X-ray machines, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
2. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
3. Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols.
4. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
5. Assist radiologists in interpreting and analyzing imaging results.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
7. Adhere to all safety and quality assurance protocols.
8. Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer any questions they may have.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Must be a graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
2. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
3. Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures.
7. Knowledge of radiographic positioning techniques.
8. Familiarity with radiology imaging software.
