Summary of Position:
GRIFFIN is looking for a Technical Software Analyst, local to the Atlanta area, with experience building custom software solutions, custom integrations, and business analysis. This person will work with a global digital team of professional-level employees and consultants to provide technology solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, supports critical thinking, and understands technology.
What You’ll Do:
- Elicit Business Requirements: Analyze business processes, identify root causes, and develop IT and business solutions.
- Translate Requirements to Technical Specs: Create user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
- Develop and Maintain Project Artifacts: Document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, wireframes, meeting notes, and development tickets.
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Sprint Closeout, and Daily Stand-ups to ensure smooth project execution.
- Create Status Reports: Provide progress updates for both internal and external audiences, ensuring clear communication across teams.
- Manage Project Scope, Budget, and Schedule: Ensure balance and alignment with contractual agreements, adapting as needed to meet deadlines.
- Work with Clients Across Time Zones: Be flexible in working with clients in various time zones (flex time available).
- Prioritize and Manage Tasks: Handle time-sensitive projects, effectively prioritize competing tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Identify Process Improvements: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and Assign Work: Take on a leadership role in assigning and prioritizing work to successfully complete projects.
- Assist with User Training and UAT: Guide clients through user training, develop acceptance criteria, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Build Testing Scenarios: Develop and conduct testing scenarios with Subject Matter Experts to ensure quality.
- Create Documentation: Assist in developing user guides and training materials while identifying additional documentation needs proactively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Consulting & Agile Experience: Proven experience in a consulting role and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Technical Expertise: Recent experience building custom software solutions, including custom web portals and system integrations, with proficiency in SQL.
- Project Management & Communication: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with experience managing technical projects and working across multiple levels of an organization.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly analyze problems, identify solutions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Education & Certifications: A relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g., in Information Systems, Software Development, or Project Management) and preferred certifications such as SCRUM Master (CSM).
