Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Education: MLS or MLIS from an ALA-accredited school. AND Experience: Two (2) years or more experience teaching or leading workshops on information management skills in an academic library setting, preferably in the health sciences and related research subjects. Effective oral and written communication skills, including effectively collaborating with colleagues, students, and faculty on various projects and library services. Collaborative approach to outreach, problem-solving, and working across organizational departments to meet user needs. Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements: AHIP: Academy of Health Information Professionals (preferred) Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required): Knowledge of medical and health literature databases, evidence based medicine and systematic reviews, required.
