Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Support clients with personal hygiene and toileting needs while ensuring dignity and respect.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
Skills/ Requirements
- Experience in care giving. Strong understanding of geriatric care principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in home and community settings.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- 18 year of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
